We're in the process of assembling the first batch of hygiene kits! Don't they look great? We're looking to drop off our first batch right on time tomorrow afternoon. They're being done because in waves because we're not simply buying and stuffing. We know that we can get the most bang for our buck buy making our own shampoo and soap. Molding and pouring our own products will allow us to stretch each dollar and, hey, don't the recipients deserve to be spoiled a little?
If you'd like to contribute to this project, please consider making a secure donation here or drop off a monetary donation at Ink Revolution Studios in Kingsport. We don't have an ending date for this project and we'll continue to make them as long as we can afford to do so. You can sponsor a kit for $5 (or many!), so this is an extremely easy way to impact your community! We'll continue to keep you updated as we make progress through this project. I'd also like to add that if you're interested in taking your heart beyond Kingsport, please keep an eye on the Friends of the Gospel. There are some wonderful projects that will be available that will allow you to deeply impact lives of brothers and sisters in Egypt, India, Pakistan and many other countries. Currently, there is an extreme situation in Malawi that you can read about here. A drought has caused food prices to skyrocket and hunger is widespread. Friends of the Gospel is in direct contact with affected families on the ground and is collecting donations to purchase bags of maize. One bag is only $10 USD and will feed a family for one month. Please pray for these families and if you feel led you can sponsor a bag of maize here.
