It's been a busy year! This being said, I am completely booked for the rest of 2017 and will not be taking appointments for 2018 until Tuesday, October 3rd. In hopes of managing time as effectively as possible, I have started a "call list." If anyone cancels or no-shows for their appointment, I will go down the list and offer the opening until it's filled. This is done on a "first come, first serve" basis, so those at the beginning of the list will get the call first. If you would like to have your name added to the list, you must come by the shop or email at [email protected].
I would like to mention a few changes for 2018 bookings in advance. Beginning January of next year, I will be switching to an hourly pricing method. The rate will be $75 per hour. I came to this number based on the fair market value of quality tattoos in our area and the speed at which I tattoo. The "clock" begins when we start tattooing and does not include prep time, unless the prep time exceeds 30 minutes due to client requests (example: requesting changes to the design). The rate will start to discount if you book a session of 5 or more hours in one session (max 7 hours). This was the best way that I could come up with to stay fair and consistent with pricing. Smaller tattoos will likely still be priced by size and detail, rather than time. I would like to provide as much notice and information as possible so that no one feels "caught off guard" by the change. Lastly, I would like to express my gratitude to my clients for a successful year. I appreciate each of you for trusting me with something that you'll carry with you for the rest of your lives. I hope to continue working with all of you in the years come.
